Three New Poems in The Song Is…

Afternoon,

I’ve got three new, music-inspired poems up over at The Song Is…

The first one, What an unlikely duo…, was written when Tom Petty died. You’ll see several song titles and lyrics from Mr. Petty in that one. The second poem, Flirting with Disaster, was originally published by Juliet Cook over at Thirteen Myna Birds. The third poem, Long Wind Blowin’ is about that blowhard at every open mic ever.

Big thanks to Marianne Szlyk of The Song Is… for putting the poems out. Go check out her new book!
