My poem, Hope Swims Electric, is out now over at Visual Verse.

I really like the idea of Visual Verse. They host one photo each month and invite writers & artists to use it as a starting point. You’re supposed to write the thing–from start to finish–in one hour. The piece has to be somewhere in the ballpark of 50 & 500 words. It’s a great writing exercise and I had a lot of fun with it.
