“Attempts. Failures.” Included in GFT Presents: One in Four

I’m really excited that my short story, Attempts. Failures., is included in GFT Press’ first print journal/mini-anthology: GFT Presents: One in Four. It was previously published in their March 2016 Ground Fresh Thursday online. Guest editor, Janine Pickett–the founding editor at Indiana Voice Journal–selected my story to be included in the print journal/mini-anthology.

I got my contributor’s copy this week and ordered another two copies. I can’t say enough nice things about what the good folks at GFT Press are doing. They’re an all-profits-to-charity press benefiting the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. These issues are very important to me. Anxiety and depression have had a huge impact on how I function (or fail to) every day. They’ve helped (or hindered) how my work has been shaped. I’m honored to have a story of mine included in this project. I hope it helps others.

Jack Daniel Miles, Editor-in-Chief, publishes new literary and artistic gold on the first Thursday of every month (Ground Fresh Thursday). Head on over to their site and be sure to like them on Facebook. Oh, and order a copy of One in Four (it’s a mere $9.50)!
